Bergen Engines, the Norwegian medium speed engine producer, has entered a sales and service partnership agreement with Goltens to support its marine offerings in Singapore, China, India, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Global service provider Goltens Worldwide has been appointed by UK-based maritime technology specialist Emsys Maritime Ltd as an authorized sales, installation, commissioning, and after-sales service partner for its Emsys-iS Marine Emissions Monitor and Emsys-PM Smoke Density Monitor products.

An MSC Engineering Evaluation Team has completed the review of Goltens’ application to be considered qualified to provide OEM-equivalent maintenance and repair services on MSC ships. Goltens was deemed to have met the requirements that govern the “procurement of items critical to safety and the modification, repair and overhaul of those items assigned to Military Sealift Command vessels”.

The Goltens Worldwide group of companies today announced the appointment of Mr. Sandeep Seth as President. Mr. Seth first joined Goltens in 2002 and has steadily climbed the ranks, serving in positions of progressively increasing responsibility. Goltens and Yara Marine Technologies have entered into a non-exclusive global engineering and installation pact for Yara’s SOx Scrubber System from 2018, including sales representation in North America, the Middle East and Singapore.

Goltens has been awarded a contract for the engineering and retrofit installation of OceanSaver ballast water treatment (BWT) systems on-board two of BP Shipping’s gas carriers. The vessels to be retrofitted are the two 138,000 cbm LNG vessels British Innovator and British Merchant.
