Trusted Globally Goltens began in 1940 when the young Norwegian ship’s engineer, Sigurd Golten, established a small workshop in Brooklyn, New York to carry out marine engine repairs. The new company quickly earned a reputation for quality of service and reducing costly downtime. Today, Goltens continues to emulate its founder by proudly retaining his values while building on the brand he created. Around The Clock Around The World Since its inception all those years ago, Goltens has grown into a group of companies with around 900 people in 15 strategically chosen locations around the world providing around the clock support to the shipping industry, as well as a substantial number of customers in the Oil & Gas and Power generation industries.
